ADAMAX
Adamax is a N-acetyl Semax variant that has been capped on the C-terminus with the adamantane moiety from P21. It is thought to have a further improved efficacy and effect profile in comparison with Semax variants, combining the nootropic and neuroprotective benefits of Semax with enhanced stability and bioavailability.

БИОПРЕПАРАТ
Literally "biological preparation"
In 1973, the Soviet Union established Biopreparat under the Main Microbiological Industry Agency—ostensibly a civilian pharmaceutical and vaccine enterprise, it would become the most sophisticated biotechnological research network in history.
At its peak, Biopreparat employed over 40,000 personnel across some 40 research and production facilities, including a dozen major complexes scattered across Soviet cities. The network incorporated major research institutes, design bureaus, pilot plants, and production facilities—pushing the boundaries of molecular biology, peptide synthesis, and bioregulation science.
The compounds that emerged from this network—Semax, Selank, Epithalon, Thymalin, the Khavinson peptides—were developed with resources and mandates that Western pharmaceutical companies could only dream of. Function over profit. Results over regulatory convenience.

RESEARCH WITHOUT
COMMERCIAL CONSTRAINTS.
While Western pharmaceutical companies optimized for patent portfolios and shareholder returns, Soviet researchers optimized for one thing: measurable biological effect.
Epithalon—a tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) developed by Vladimir Khavinson at the Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology in St. Petersburg. Research demonstrates telomerase activation and significant lifespan extension in multiple animal models. Published in over 100 peer-reviewed studies.
Semax—developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow. A synthetic analog of ACTH(4-10) that upregulates BDNF without hormonal side effects. Approved in Russia and Ukraine as a prescription drug for stroke recovery and cognitive disorders.
Bromantane—synthesized at the Zakusov Research Institute of Pharmacology. An atypical stimulant that enhances dopamine synthesis rather than depleting reserves. Added to WADA's prohibited list after Russian athletes tested positive at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
These compounds were developed outside the Western patent system. Many primary studies remain in Russian-language journals, overlooked by English-speaking researchers focused on FDA-approved therapeutics.
FOR THOSE WHO
DO THE READING.
After 1991, the Biopreparat network fragmented. Some facilities were divested. Some researchers emigrated. But the compounds—and the research behind them—didn't disappear. They continued to be manufactured, studied, and prescribed in Russia, invisible to the Western medical establishment.
We built this archive for researchers who've already found the papers. Who've read Khavinson's work on bioregulatory peptides. Who understand that "not FDA approved" and "not studied" are very different statements.
This is not a supplement store. We don't make health claims. We provide research-grade compounds with verified purity and comprehensive documentation—for those qualified to evaluate them independently.
This Archive Is For You If
- You read primary literature, not Reddit summaries
- You understand mechanism of action matters more than marketing
- You can evaluate risk/benefit independently
- You're not looking for shortcuts—you're looking for tools
All compounds verified >98% purity via HPLC/MS. Certificate of Analysis included with every order.
